VPM Lifecycle Navigator Web - LCN

ENOVIA – VPM Web Navigator (LCN) is the base product of a new generation of VPM products, built entirely as web-based, light client applications on top of industry leading middleware (IBM WebSphere) providing openness, scalability and rapid deployment for customers. ENOVIA – VPM Web Navigator provides functions to access, navigate and report on intellectual property information (such as project, change management, documents, etc.) in the database.

ENOVIA VPM Web Navigator provides a breakthrough in ease of use Relationship Navigator which provides a single graphical interface for navigation as well as authoring of various types of intellectual property information. For instance, when a user is preparing a change request for a part, they will be able to access all part-related information, including the part s maturity, designer, graphical model, number of times it has been versioned before, products in which this part is used, etc., putting all information related to complex product development information right at the users’ fingertip. The ability to perform lifecycle management ‘in-context’ contributes to better decision making and collaboration among all the users who participate in the product development process.

Capabilities

  • Is designed using the same portlet architecture as that of modular 3d com thereby allowing the seamless integration of lifecycle management and 3D collaboration tools
  • Provides functions to access, navigate and report on intellectual property information (document, parts, engineering changes, projects, etc.)
  • Features breakthrough ease-of-use with the Relationship Navigator, a single graphical user interface for navigation as well as authoring of various types of intellectual property information, facilitating lifecycle management 'in-context'

Highlights

  • Share composite material information with extended teams DMU Composite Review 2 (CPR) extends the access of composite material defined in CATIA V5 to cross disciplines teams and suppliers. It fosters better communication and collaboration between the different stakeholders for a more efficient design to manufacturing process.
