SMARTEAM Workflow (WFL) provides workflow automation and management that streamlines your business processes and expedites engineering changes. WFL enables you to manage project workflow, track project status, and automatically route work from one stage to the next. You can initiate a workflow by choosing from a list of pre-defined engineering change processes (ECP/ECR/ECN/ ECO) or easily custom-define additional workflow processes. WFL supports embedded flowcharts, for the simplified representation and automation of complex business processes. An alert mechanism notifies managers of past-due processes, prompting them to send reminders to the relevant parties. WFL supports national language support (NLS), enabling process representation in most languages.
