Course Description This course introduces you to CATIA Process documents and the Process, Product, and Resource structure. The tools available to create and modify NC tools paths and generate output of completed programs will be examined. At the end of this course, participants will be able to perform the following tasks:
Create, manage and update NC setups and manufacturing programs
Develop two through five axis milling operations
Develop axial operations such as drilling, boring, tapping, and thread milling
Define cutting tools, tool assemblies and tool catalogs
Control tool entry and exit from material through NC Macros
Understand the control of machining feed rates and spindle speeds
Perform simulation and analysis of the generated tool paths
Add NC Post Processor instructions for control of specific machine functions
